Working Hours: As Needed. Part-time Hours/Week: 20
Supervises: No-one
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Business Operations
Secondary Supervisor: O.C. Carmichael Site Director
Job Objective:
The Part-Time Janitorial person is primarily responsible for the cleaning of buildings, which includes all aspects of those buildings.
Essential Job Functions:

Education: High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years Janitorial preferred.
Technical Skills: Valid driver’s license and ability to read and follow instructions.
Work Environment:
Work is performed both inside and outside buildings and on the grounds of FCC and affiliate corporations. This may require significant heavy lifting (of 50 lbs or more), bending, stooping and mobility.
1.Must have the ability to alternate between sitting, standing and walking up to 4 hours.
2.Ability to move (walk, run, bend, twist, reach, stoop, squat).
3.Visual acuity is needed for accurate reading and documentation.
4.Ability to occasionally push/pull equipment, supplies, and wheeled carts up to 200 lbs.
5.Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. or more.
6.Ability to frequently reach above, at or below shoulder height.
7.Ability to frequently handle, through gross and fine manipulations simple grasping, twisting, and fingering of small objects.
8.Ability to operate a vehicle in a safe manner.
9.Ability to occasionally handle hazardous/infectious waste.
10.Ability to work in an environment where noise levels may be high.
11.Ability to work where chemicals are frequently used for cleaning, where mechanical and electrical hazards may occasionally be present and where dust, mist and steam is frequently generated.
12.Ability to work at a rapid pace and tolerate a variety of tasks requiring the need for physical agility, flexibility, stamina and/or may be stressful and/or repetitive at times.
13.Ability to deal professionally with people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.

- Organization of janitorial duties.
- Ability to strip, wax and mop floors.
- Ability to clean and vacuum carpets.
- Ability to clean walls, bathrooms, and hallways.
- Organize and set up rooms for events including moving tables and chairs.
- Ability to bend, stoop and lift.
- Ability to drive a motorized vehicle and have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Inspection assistance of Fire Extinguishers at each facility on a monthly basis.
- Inspection assistance of water temperatures at each facility on a monthly basis.
- Inspection assistance of emergency lighting at each facility on a monthly basis.
- Check interior and exterior lighting as needed.
- Check ceiling panels as needed.
- Assist with changing filters for water systems and furnaces as needed.
Additional Job Duties:
- Perform any and all other duties assigned by the President/CEO, Director of Business Operations, or Executive Administrative Assistant.
